Men’s Basketball: Maine tops Hartford 77-69 in 3 point filled game.

WEST HARTFORD, CT- Head Coach Ted Woodward led his Maine Black Bears into Chase Family Arena on the UHart campus, looking to continue the team’s winning streak at the expense of Dan Leibovitz’s Hartford Hawks. His team would succeed by narrowly despite what the final score reported. The game would be a shootout with each side sending their 3 point shooters into the fray and it at times three point shots were all that were being taken.
Women’s Basketball: Hartford tops Maine 76-39

WEST HARTFORD, CT- The Hartford Hawks and Maine Black Bears tipped off in an America East contest at the Chase Family Arena on the U of H campus Monday night before a fairly good crowd. The Hawks would pull out to a quick lead and never look back on their way to a 76-39 victory.

WEST HARTFORD, CT (November 7, 2008)- The Maine Black Bears came down to West Hartford to take on the Hawks Friday night. Maine was looking to improve it’s standing in the America East and the Hawks were searching for an elusive conference win.
Connecticut and Maine go five sets on a Saturday afternoon.

STORRS, CT-Two flagship New England state schools met at Connecticut’s Gampel Pavilion before a small but vocal crowd and this hard fought match would end up taking five sets to complete.
