• Note

For ease of use by readers, the blog posts that report on games are posted sequentially. So for instance if two games happened, but the report for the first game was posted after the report for the second game, the reports would still be listed in order in which the games were played rather than when they were posted.

Here you will find amateur sports reporting from venues around the northeast. I make every effort to be as correct as possible and use the proper terms, though I also will be learning on the fly, so there may be some mistakes. If there are any corrections please feel free to send them to me. Thank you for visiting. Linkage to this blog is allowed, quoting from the blog is allowed as long as credit is given. Please do not copy the entire post however. Please do not use any of the pictures that are part of this blog without permission. I really don't mind, but there are NCAA regulations on how photos are used and I adhere to them. All articles are copyright David F.P. as far as that copyright can extend legally. The owner of this site does not support any team over any other in terms of winning, awards, recruiting or any way to violate impartiality. I may be considered a booster at several institutions though really avoid acting in such a way as to be considered as boosting any sports per se. I avoid recruiting completely. I do support the overall goal of any team to succeed and I do support individual achievement. I also support attendance at events in general. I cover events based on geographical convenience and not based on support for any specific team. Note: Generally when I attend sporting events it is not in team colors. However, if I do attend in team colors and write about it I am also going to be wearing the opposing teams colors. I do reserve the right to attend a game in support of one team as long as I do not write a news report afterward, though I may write a more environment piece. This whole disclaimer is based on a desire to conform with NCAA rules which are there for everyone's protection.

Fall 2009 College Volleyball Schedule Tracker

I’m just going to list here if local area colleges have their schedules up yet or not. I may miss a few schools at first, but will try to add more later. I’m focusing generally on the CT, RI, and MA area. I’m assuming that with the loss of the Maine program and with the Quinnipiac lawsuit their might be further changes so I’ll update this as needed.

Teams with Schedules out:
University of Connecticut, University of Hartford, Mitchell?, Post University, Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, Wesleyan, Western Connecticut, Yale, Bentley, Clark, Harvard, Springfield College, Worcester State, Brown, Bryant,Providence,

Teams without Schedules out.

Albertus Magnus, Bridgeport, Central Connecticut, Connecticut College, Eastern Connecticut, Fairfield, Southern Connecticut, Trinity, St. Joseph’s (CT), Assumption, Babson, Boston College, Holy Cross, MIT, Northeastern, WPI, Johnson & Wales, Roger Williams

(Still have several more schools from all three states and the surrounding areas to check out.)
